Heute ist der letzte Montag für das Jahr 2014. Die einen freuts, die anderen nicht und dann gibt es noch eine Gruppe von Menschen welchen es egal ist. Zu welcher Gruppe gehörst du? Ich gehöre zur letzteren, ob es 2014, 2015 oder 2016 sein wird – für mich spielt das keine Rolle. Für die Läden aber sehr wohl, die Festtage generieren ihnen einen schönen Batzen an Umsatz. Überall werben die Geschäfte mit dem letzten Kauf vor dem gigantischen Jahreswechsel, à la „wenn ihr dieses Kleid in der Silvesternacht nicht trägt, geht die Welt unter!“. Die Menschen decken sich mit Kleidern, Alkohol, Essen und noch vielen weiteren (unnötigen) Dingen ein. Muss der Jahreswechsel dermassen zelebriert werden? Wie auch immer, jeder soll tun und machen was er will, oder eben nicht tun und nicht machen was er will. Was ihr aber unbedingt im Jahr 2014 noch erleben sollt ist Shura. Eine junge Sängerin/Produzentin aus London welchen unglaublichen chilligen Pop spielt. Nebst dem Pop gibt es sanfte Beats und Synthi Melodien – Musik welche an die guten alten 80ies erinnern, mit einem Hauch Madonna drin. Wenn man sich die Titel wie ‚Indecision’ ‚Just Once’ oder ‚Touch’ anhört darf man sich durchaus auf weitere Tracks freuen. Die Songs haben alle was gemeinsam – sie wirken verträumt und transportieren ein Bild von Palmen, Sonne und weite Strände in den Kopf. Darum, seid mutig, klickt auf den Song und hört ihn euch an! The last days are counted!
Today’s the last Monday for 2014. Ones are pleased about this, others not and then there’s a group of people they don’t care about it. To which group do you belong? I belong to the last ones, the ones who doesn’t care about whether it’s 2014, 2015, or 2016. For the stores it’s an important period, this season generate them a nice chunk of sales. Everywhere the shops advertise with the recent purchase before the gigantic year changes, à la „if you’re not wearing this dress in the New Year’s Eve, the world is ending!“. People stock up with clothes, alcohol, food and many other (unnecessary) things. Must the New Year be celebrated that much? Anyway, everyone should do what he wants, or not do what he wants. What you necessarily should experience in 2014 is Shura. A young singer / producer from London which plays incredible chilled Pop. In addition to the pop, there are gentle beats and synth melodies – music who remembers the good old 80s, with a touch Madonna in it. When you listen to the titles ‚Indecision’ ‚Just Once’ or ‚Touch’ you can certainly look forward to more tracks like these. The songs all have something in common – they seem dreamy and convey an image of palm trees, sun and wide beaches into the head. Therefore, be courageous, click on the song and listen to it!
