Im Sommer Tram fahren ist herrlich – man klebt an den Sitzen fest, riecht den beissenden Geruch von Schweiss gemischt mit verschiedenen Parfüms, zwischendurch läuft ein nasser Hund an dir vorbei, eine Waldspielgruppe namens „Isebähnli“ (was so viel wie Eisenbahn heisst für die Deutschen Kollegen) huscht hinein, allesamt extrem gut gelaunt und voller Tatendrang, zwei Stationen und sie sind wieder weg. Dafür steigt nun eine Gruppe halbstarker Mängs (eine Mischung aus Männer und Jungs) ein. Die sind so cool, dass sie das auch allen zeigen müssen. Ihr Käppi tragen sie nicht wirklich, es ist eher sanft auf den Kopf gesetzt, natürlich umgekehrt und eine Marke muss es sein. Was soll’s – ich finde es amüsant. Auf meinen, mittlerweile echt kaputten, Kopfhörern höre ich die Stimme von Rupa Marya von den Rupa & The April Fishes. Die aus San Francisco kommende Band animiert einem zum tanzen an. Nimmt einen mit, auf das Parkett der unendlichen Grenzen, lässt das Herz eines Chanson Fanatiker genauso höher schlagen wie jenes von einem Folk Anhänger. Was zuerst als Soloprojekt von Rupa startete führte schlussendlich zur Gruppe zusammen. Ich mag diese Art von Musik, sie ist so wunderbar lebensfroh und mitreissend, beides kann man immer gebrauchen. Feel amusing, „Feel Better“!

On the way…
Driving with the tram during the summer is lovely – you stick on the seats, smells the pungent odor of sweat mixed with various perfumes, in between a wet dog passes through, a forest play group called „Isebähnli“ (that’s a name for a railway) slips inside and they’re in a extremely good mood and full of energy, two stations later they’re gone. Then a group of half strong meoys (mixture for men and boys) steps into the tram. They’re so cool that they have to show it to everyone. They wear their cap not really it’s just slightly placed on the head and of course the other way around and a brand. What ever – I find it amusing, entertainment for free. On my, now really broken, headphones I hear the voice of Rupa Marya from the Rupa & The April Fishes. The Band from San Francisco animates the people to dance. Takes us on the floor of the infinite limits, let the heart beat playing higher of a Chanson fanatics and in the same time the one of a folk followers. What first started as as solo project of Rupa ultimately led to the group together. I like this kind of music, she’s so wonderfully cheerful and intoxicating, both you can always use. Feel amusing, „Feel Better“!
